Sporrong is one of the oldest companies in the Nordic region

The business was originally founded as a belt-maker’s in Stockholm back in 1666 by Henrik Grau, Master Craftsman. Following several changes of name and ownership, the business was taken over in 1842 by Carl Claes Sporrong, the last Master of the Belt-Makers’ Guild in Stockholm, who also gave the company its current name.

Sporrong are owned by Kultakeskus OY since July 2018. Finland’s leading metal processing company based in Hämeenlinna, founded in 1918. The product range includes diamond, gold and silver jewelry, cutlery, medals, trophies and imports of famous Swiss watches as well as gold watches.

A great deal has happened over the past 350 years

We have designed and manufactured gifts and decorations for all kinds of occasions – from recognising sports stars, to helping companies celebrate anniversaries and reward employees who have made a special effort. Our skilled craftsmen use the latest technology which means that today, 350 years after our foundation, we are still delivering top-quality craftsmanship.

Manufacturing in our own factory

The items we supply today are manufactured at our own factory in Estonia, or by one of our professional partners in other parts of the world. Sporrong has sales offices in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Estonia and Latvia. One of the key aspects of our business is the design process, where we work closely with our clients to create one-off products on the basis of specific requirements.

Quality and the environment

Sporrong has a documented quality management system in accordance with SS EN ISO 9001 : 2015. We have been certified according to, and complied with, this standard since 1999, in order to be able to check and guarantee that you receive the right product in the right quality and at the right time – in a responsible manner! We are environmentally certified since 2008 according to SS EN ISO 14001: 2015

Royal Warrant

Sporrong has been a Royal Warrant since 1965. In the past, there were over a thousand purveyors to the court, but today it is more demanding and theres only 120 companies left that may use the coveted title.
